Animal Hospital provides an exceptional level of medical and surgical care for your pets. When illnesses or injuries occur, the hospital’s in-house lab provides timely answers to disease questions, ensuring accurate care without extended delays.  In-house x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscope machines permit non-invasive examinations.  Heartland’s fully equipped surgical suite is dedicated to surgery only, making it readily available to handle any needs that your pets may have.  Separate hospital and isolation wards allow for the care and recovery of surgical and diseased patients. These disconnected wards guarantee a quiet, clean, safe environment for all patients. 
 
Animal Hospital is a pain free institution.  All surgical and dental patients receive pain medication both pre-surgically and as a prescription to be taken at home, ensuring a smooth, comfortable recovery from their procedures.  All animals receive an intravenous (IV) catheter and IV fluids while under the effects of anesthesia to aid in blood pressure maintenance, removal of anesthesia from their systems, and temperature regulation. IV catheters also allow venous access in cases of emergencies.
